In 1984 John Buckley, then Director of the new Australian Centre of Contemporary Art commissioned filmmaker Robert Alcock to document the late Keith Haring’s visit to Australia. This rare footage documents Haring’s completion of murals at the NGV, AGNSW and most notably at Collingwood. Throughout the documentary Haring speaks candidly on his creative process, thoughts on Australia and art in general.
